A Continuation of Fine Friends

I'm off in a bit to meet girlfriends Jasmine and Fionna. Haven't seen them in ages. Excited!

I've been going to Canele's a lot recently. I love their macaroons and "L'Amour" ice-cream...and cakes! Mmm...Yummy...:p

...My skin has been flaring up angrily recently. I think it's all that emotional turmoil I've been putting myself through. :( Made an "emergency" trip down to Dr. Georgia Lee's clinic yesterday. She's truly an angel who saves the day!

I should remind myself to keep smiling...

I had a really nice, blissful Sunday with my family. I feel really lucky to have such a wonderful family, and friends who are always there ready to envelope me in their love. Love you guys! Have a beautiful week ahead everyone!!

Fine Friends

I've been meeting up with all my friends a lot of late. Ok, wait. It's not like I didn't use to meet them, I just do that a lot more now. Anyway, here's another great evening with my fabulous friend, Alvin. :)

We dined at "Sun with Moon". Love the food, love Japanese!

Scrumptious dragon sushi roll. :)

Handsome. :)

Mmm...should it be the green tea parfait or black sesame ice-cream? :p

Celluloid/Spiders/Portraits by Gavin Lim

Trooped down to this photo exhibition currently being held at Sinema Old School. Fans of Ch 5's "Fighting Spiders", you can't miss this! Really gorgeous behind-the-scene shots by director Gavin Lim. I wish I had such shots taken of me.... :)

With director, Gavin Lim.

Luv that really cute picture of Ezann hanging behind us! If you guys noticed, Ezann is carrying her really tiny teacup poodle, Bubbles. She's SO small, and SO adorable. :) I think Domo is 5 times her size!

The exhibition is on till 5th July. Head on down! :)

Mahjong Kakis

Played a game of mahjong after a really long hiatus at Tania's pretty home with Grace and Ezann. It was slightly stressful considering I didn't know the game very well, but I had fun. It was a good catch-up with the girls too. :) Here's us at Tampopo, waiting eagerly for our ramens to arrive. We were so hungry!!

Tania and Kenny are expecting a little one. So excited!! :)

Mocca TVC

I found a screen shot of my TVC. My sister told me that there's been discussions about my...erm...'racks' online. Which made me laugh so hard. Can see anything meh??

...chewing his favourite 'stich' toy...

Post Exam Mortem

Yayyyy!! Exams are finally over! *jumps around* It's been a really rough two weeks - with trying to concentrate on studying, and coping with this other heart-breaking news I got. Don't really want to talk about what happened, except that it really got me down. But! I guess the sun will shine again in neverland...soon.

To those who left me comments on my Mocca TVC, thanks a lot! I got them, it's just I haven't had much time to reply. :) It's definitely deeply appreciated. -xxx-

First up! Some of you may already know that my daddy is in real estate. He's got a new website up. Please do visit http://www.williamgohproperty.com if you're looking to buy, sell or rent anything. I've set up a link on my sidebar too. Thanks!! :)

And...I've been wanting to post this entry long ago...the girlies and I had a really nice escape in the city a couple of weeks ago! My sis had an extra room booked because of the change in her dinner venue, and she passed it on to me. (Thanks che! ) We had a fantabulous two nights stay choked full with stuff to do.

First night - That's me, Cecilia, Stephaine and Angelia. Stephaine's bosses had a table booked at Luna. It was a strange place for us to go clubbing, but we enjoyed ourselves nonetheless. And we could stagger back to our hotel after the night ended! :D

The next day, after a longgggg slowwww brunch at the hotel, we went over to Liang Court for snacks and magazines for our swim at the pool . :)

After our leisure swim and snacking by the pool, we got ready for our night out. First stop - to fill our hungry tummies: Ramen at Tampopo. "Kyushu Jangara Ramen...Dai Suki!"

It was coffee, and then we were off to the F1 pit building for the Fuel Party! But, so much for VIP invites...we didn't have much fun. The place was empty! We couldn't wait for Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan (hopefully), and headed over to good 'ol Zouk instead.

Yeah we had fun...and "cam-whored" our way to the car...:)

Yay! "Home-sweet-Home".

We are very messy girls!

We drew on the slippers to differentiate the pairs! (Mine's the ice-cream and lolli one)

And that was it! We packed our bags for check-out, grabbed lunch at a Hong Kong cafe the next day and went back to our separate homes. :)

I had fun.

Till next time....♥!

I'm burning the midnight oil trying my bestest to study for my exams on Monday. And now, I'm having an immense french fries craving! Will someone send it over please, pretty please?

Putting up this image is Not helping my craving...*yummyyyy*

Love/Hate relationship?

What do you do when suddenly all that you've been working for loses it's meaning?

"Click Click!"

Here's me getting scared by clickers in a mocca.com commercial I did a couple of weeks back. :)

Wedding Bells ~ Love Rawkz!

My sister got married on the 22nd May. Her special day flew by with a mad flurry of activities from the moment when we woke up a tad bit too late. My sister, who has already moved out a year ago, came back home to sleep over the night before her wedding. She chose to sleep in my room for a night of pre-wedding bonding. It was sweet having my sister sleep beside me. Wish I had more time to chat with her :( ... but I was so busy with the pre-wedding preps, and packing my luggage for the hotel stay with my other girlie friends (more on that later).

So, I suggested we wake at 6am to start getting ready, but my gung-ho sister decided we should wake only at 6.30am. Which pretty much meant that we greeted the photographer and her make-up artist slightly bleary eyed and still in our pyjamas. No time for a morning coffee, breakfast or anything slow of that sort. We jumped, or at least I jumped from sleepy-mode to red alert - so many things to do before the groom and his band of brothers arrive! Had to dress up, slap on make-up and do up the hair quickly to look pretty for pictures, prepare all the 'torture' tools for the band of brothers, dress up domo, settle in the jiemeis etc etc. You get the idea. I was in a swirl. :)

The day wedding activities went great. Weather was good, no rain (thank gawd!), the groom and the band of brothers had a hard enough time trying to 'get' the bride, tea ceremony was sweet, good spread of buffet for everyone and we were always on schedule. :) There were smiley faces all around and my sister was gorgeous. With the beaming "jiefu" in tow, they were basking in the glow of love.

"Jiefu" - that's a new term for me in name-calling. (just in case, it means brother-in-law in chinese for those who don't know) I addressed this new member of the family with this new rather affectionate term (it is to me at least!) during the tea ceremony, and I was so happy. And that was pretty much how I felt the whole day. Happy. So happy for my sister that she has found someone to share her life. Someone who truly loves her for who she is, and who takes care and protects her... Having seen my sister through a fair share of rotten eggs and heartbreaks, I am glad that she has found her pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. :)

I teared at their solemnization ceremony, and teared at their speech during dinner. I was tearing everywhere! I'm really not usually such a cry-baby, but I was really choked full with joy.

I think that the evening dinner went great too. All the wedding guests came, partied and left. And together with them, flew away the bunch of butterflies that were eating up my stomach. You see, I was my sister's mandarin wedding emcee for the night. Mandarin is pretty much not my forte for public speaking, and hence, having to address a huge crowd of relatives and friends in mandarin got me pretty jittered up. I was sneaking in moments throughout the day madly trying to memorise my mandarin lines and trying not to speak like a english potato...

Right! Enough of me writing already. Here are pictures to document this happy occasion. :)

"Yummy treats" specially prepared by the bunch of jiemeis for the band of brothers. Hehe.

Domo peeking into the room to check on us!

And here's Domo in his little tuxedo! He looked happy all day too!
